This is VR Scene of Xiaoling Tomb of the Ming Dynasty in Nanjing,
China.
Setup:
- install DirectX 9.0c and the latest graphic
driver
- install
blaxxun Contact 5.3 frist and then install
BS Contact VRML/X3D 6.2
- install Microsoft Windows Mediaplayer 9 or
later
Introduce:
This scene have loading-bar, pre-define animation and
other real-time special effects. You can see the rain start and
stop, and fog will become dense or disappear with the rain. A good
sun lighting, even with a little lighting animation, 3D plants and
some blow in the wind, reflection on the ground, and sound and
music. You can walk like Quake with viewpoint bobs up and down, with
[SPACE] key for jump, and with foot step sound. And this scene also
use DirectX 9 hardware pix shader on the water effect.
Remain is really nice art work. Some texture is taken from game and
3DSMAX, but most texture and model is original work, from photoing
to texturing and modeling and coding.
How to Navigation:
special effect include :
weather (from fog morning, and start to rain, and rain stop
and sunshine, you can choose view "start rain(game mode)" and
"stop rain(game mode)"),
sun lighting animation,
plants,
reflection in water (under the tortoise)
sound and music.
you can walk like Quake, (only work when choose view "start
rain(game mode)" and "stop rain(game mode)"),
with viewpoint bobs up and down,
with [SPACE] key for jump,
and with foot step sound
